Political Science

Brian Hasse is a third-year graduate student studying international relations. He is a career naval aviator with over 3000 hours in the FA-18 and has deployed six times in support of U.S. national security initiatives.  Additionally, he has served in multiple staff assignments including a tour at the United States Northern Command, where he advised senior leaders on risk management strategies to enhance the resiliency of critical defense infrastructure and networks. In his most recent operational assignment, he served as the Commanding Officer of Strike Fighter Squadron 22 in Lemoore, CA.  His areas of expertise include air warfare, foreign policy analysis, leadership and ethics.  His research interests include political psychology, conflict management, and national security decision-making.
