Kaidi Zhu is a first-year doctoral student in comparative politics, with broad interests in bureaucracy, civil–military relations, and conflict. He holds a B.A. from Peking University and an M.Phil. from the University of Oxford, both in Economics. Prior to joining Brown, he served as a predoctoral researcher at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, alongside a policy consulting role at the World Bank.
