Biography

Xiang is a first-year Ph.D. student in International Relations. Her current research interests revolve around climate change, energy transition, and the relations between China and Latin America. She holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Shandong University. During her time at Georgetown, she interned as a Research Assistant at the Wilson Center, where she analyzed the global lithium economy and researched Chinese economic activities in Bolivia. Before beginning her doctoral studies, she also worked as a Business Analyst at GateKeeper Enterprise, analyzing cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
