Carol-Armelle Ze-Noah

Carol-Armelle Ze-Noah (she/her) is a first-year graduate student in Political Theory with research interests rooted in the Black radical tradition, namely Black Political Thought and Black feminisms. She is interested in Black liberation struggles as spaces of optimism and/or pessimism. In this, her work engages democratic theory, politics of hope, love, futurity, and other alternative theories of freedom. Her research is motivated by the question “is Black liberation an inclusive project?” She holds BAs in Government, African and African Diaspora Studies, and Women's and Gender Studies from The University of Texas at Austin, and an MA in Political Science from UC Berkeley.
