Political Science

Maya is a second-year graduate student studying American Politics and Political Theory. Her research interests center around American political development and the historical relationship between race, gender, and political institutions. Prior to Brown, Maya worked as an Assistant Paralegal for the Public Defenders Program and as a Democratic, Politics, and Election Assistant for ActBlue. She holds a B.A in Political Science from Wellesley College.
