Political Science

Mike Gonzalez is a first-year graduate student in international relations. He is an active-duty Army officer and fellow with the Army’s Advanced Strategic Planning and Policy Program. Mike has served in a variety of operational assignments and has led soldiers deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Western Europe. Mike is interested in nuclear strategic culture and escalation dynamics and intends to study how the emergence of China as a nuclear pacing threat affects strategic stability.
