Political Science

Sara is a first-year graduate student specializing in comparative politics. Her research interests include local level peace negotiations, community resilience, and state capacity in conflict-affected states. Prior to joining Brown, Sara was involved in impact evaluations in the peacebuilding, education, and health sector. She has conducted field research in Darfur, northern Sierra Leone, Myanmar, and India. She holds an MSc in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London, and a BA in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.
