Biography

Yucong Li is a third-year Ph.D. candidate studying comparative politics and international relations. Li’s research interests include authoritarian politics, China’s foreign policy, and state-society relations. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) from Peking University, an MPP from UC San Diego, and an M.A. in Politics from NYU. Prior to his Ph.D. study, he has been working as a research assistant at institutes such as Peking University Center for Civil Society Studies, and UCSD 21st Century China Center.
